Our Delivery Options
Delivery prices are based upon the total cost of your order and the type of delivery service available/chosen.
To ensure safe delivery of your tiles, palletised delivery is required on any orders that weigh 20kg and above.
Our pallet service options are below.
Please note if we book in a pallet delivery to our clients and the delivery fails due to the client not being in to receive the order, we will have to charge the client a failed/re-delivery charge of £52.50.

Please note the approximate delivery times are from when the order leaves our warehouse, usually we will dispatch your order the either the same day or the day after you place your order, this all depends on when your order arrives with us, as we need time to pick and dispatch your order, however we will always try to endeavour to dispatch your order the same day as you place your order, this all depends what time your order arrives with us.
All multiple pallet orders, your delivery cost will be free of charge as your purchase will surpass the minimum order amount of £500.
Your Delivery Date
As you will see above you will be given approximate delivery time, these are usually accurate, however sometimes there are slight delays within the transport industry. We will always endeavour to deliver your goods to you as soon as we can.
Delivery Times
Deliveries are generally made between 8am and 6pm - unfortunately we’re unable to offer specific time slots.
We do ask the delivery drivers to call one hour ahead, where it’s safe and possible to do so.
Pallet Sizes
Most orders are dispatched on half or full size wooden pallets.
These measure approximately:
- Half size - 80 x 60 cm
- Full size - 80 x 120 cm
Kerbside Delivery
In common with most pallet deliveries, our deliveries are made to the kerbside only.
This means they won’t necessarily be made to your driveway or front door. Delivery drivers are not insured to enter your property, open the pallet or physically handle any tiles.
Accepting Your Delivery
Please ensure that a responsible person is present upon delivery to inspect, check and sign for your order.
- Inspect for any damage
- Check all items are present
- Sign to accept the delivery
If you see or suspect any damage, then you must follow the guidelines below.
Damages
We operate to very high standards, so please accept our apologies if you experience some damage to your order.
All orders leave our warehouse checked in their new condition, but damage can sometimes happen in transit.
If you see or suspect damage of any description then please do the following within 24 hours of receiving your order.
- Sign DAMAGED on the delivery note
- Take photos of all damaged tiles
For sustainable reasons, we do recommend that damaged tiles are kept and used for cuts on your project whenever possible.
Unfortunately we cannot issue and dispatch free replacements until photos have been received.
Access issues
Please inform us in advance if there’s any local access issues such as narrow lanes, repair works or road closures. This way, we’ll be able to make alternate arrangements if required, so there’s no delay to your delivery.
There may be an extra charge if a smaller vehicle or re-delivery is required - we’ll discuss this with you, where necessary.
Cancellations
Need to change or cancel your order? Please contact help@tileemporium.uk as soon as possible. If your order has already left our premises, a redelivery charge may apply.
Late Deliveries
Please note that very occasionally, there may be a delay to your delivery that’s outside our control. This is usually down to events such as bad traffic or weather conditions. In this case, we’ll do our very best to let you know.
We cannot be held liable for any costs arising from a delayed delivery, so we would advise not booking in any trades persons until after your order has been delivered.
Surcharge and Island Postcodes
An additional delivery charge will apply to certain postcodes which can be identified by entering your postcode at checkout. Delivery to these remote and island postcodes takes a minimum of 7 working days.
